1. Course Introduction

As individuals age, the body undergoes a natural decline in collagen and moisture levels. This process contributes to the aging and thinning of the skin, a marked reduction in elastic fibers, and the depletion of subcutaneous fat. Over time, the effects of gravity further exacerbate these changes, resulting in skin elongation and the deepening of creases. Decrescent lines can be attributed to three main factors: the sunken nasal base paired with unfilled midface creating craters on either side of the nose and decrescent lines; skin laxity leading to the accumulation of decrescent lines; and lines formed due to facial expressions rich in movement.

1. Expected effect

The anticipated outcomes of this program include:

• Improvement of nasal base depression
• Enhanced muscle development on both sides of the nose
• Diminished appearance of creases
